new moon, aviv barley report

The new moon was projected to be seen last evening, on March 7th. In Israel, they did not see it.

Moreover, here on the Gulf coast of Florida, I did not see it, even though we had clear skies.

The next biblical month begins Friday evening, March 8th, by default.

Now the question is, is the new month the 1st month, or the 13th month? The aviv barley search in Israel did not yield a result of aviv barley. For us, tonight begins the 13th month.
