flour tortilla
grated cheddar or monterey jack cheese
additional add ins
Melt a little butter in a small skillet over medium heat; add a flour tortilla and warm. Layer cheese on half the tortilla, then add ins, and a final layer of cheese. Fold half the tortilla over to cover so your quesadilla makes a half moon (like an omelet) and cook until centers are hot and cheese is melted through.
During the week of unleavened bread, any sandwich normally eaten hot can be made into a quesadilla. Layer the sandwich fixings in between the two layers of cheese.
