Time to leave the Babylonian worldview and system, My people, lest you receive of her plagues. For the judgment for sin that is coming on the world is not directed at the people of God, so no reason to be caught up in it! But like Noah, and like Lot, we have to get in the ark, we have to walk out of Sodom and Gomorrah and not look back. ♥
Psalm 84, Chiastic structure

This man, for whom YHVH is his strength, and in whose heart are the highways of the upright, when he passes through the Valley of Baca (“the valley of weeping”), he makes it a place of springs. Instead of the water coming from the rivers of tears from the sorrow of the people, the water now comes, like rivers of living water, from the goodness and blessing of YHVH upon the people, when a man in whose heart are the highways brings justice, alleviates suffering, supplies the poor and needy with bread, and, just as our Messiah Yeshua, goes about doing good, and healing all the oppressions of the devil.

Then I realized, it is because of our modern American culture that we have trouble seeing 1) faith and love, and 2) shunning those who will not obey, as matching pairs. It is an act of love to withdraw from those who will not obey so that they might be ashamed and admonished as brothers. True love does not tolerate sin and disobedience, because all sin hurts and is destructive. Love abhors sin because there is always someone who gets hurt (in this case, the one who walks disorderly is hurting himself). This message that we are constantly hammered with from our society, that love equals toleration of every evil thing, is a false message. ♥
