“Man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of YHVH.” Deu 8:3, Mat 4:4
This year I hope to update the Hebraic Faith Bible with the Bible text that I have in my notes. In my notes, for the Hebrew Testament, I begin with the text of the 1917 JPS translation of the Hebrew Bible into English, and modernize the archaic words and grammar. For the Greek Testament, I begin with the text of the King James and do the same. Any translation issues and clarifications that I come across in my Bible study are noted at the bottom of each chapter.
Hebrew Testament chronological (minus Psalms and Proverbs); 365 readings of mostly 2 chapters per day. See the Chronological Notes Documentation for more info on the chronological schedule.
Greek Testament; 260 readings (5 days per week for 52 weeks) of one chapter per day.
Psalms and Proverbs twice; 365 readings of one chapter per day.

My family and I look forward to reading with you this year! My friend Christy has a Genesis to Revelation reading that we did the very first time together in 2022-2023 yes, it took us 2 years to read it together the very first time. 🙄 BUT WE DID IT!! ❤️🙌 Last year, we read it chronologically on our own, and we’ll be done on the 31st and ready to start yours on January 1st! We are excited! As a family, we’ve made it a habit together to read it each morning. We learned through our reading in 2022-2023 that we will not get it read if we don’t make it the first thing we do each morning. 😉 Doing it each morning made 2024 a successful year in getting it read together daily and completed in one year.
So happy to have you along for the ride Jennifer! The Word of God is amazing, and I think you will be blessed!
