The New Moon as seen from Florida: Mar 19
(The new moon was seen one day earlier in the United States than it was in Israel, It wasn’t seen in Israel until March 20, and its sighting in Israel is the definitive marker.)
That the barley was Aviv:

(Why this criteria? The barley was Aviv when it was struck in the 7th plague of hail (Exo 9:31), two weeks before the 10th plague which inaugurated Passover. So then YHVH instructed Israel, “Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to YHVH your God, for in the month of Abib YHVBH your God brought you out of Egypt by night.” Deu 16:1)
