July 13 Update: Why am I not surprised that the UN has condemned Israel’s attack on Lebanon, but I didn’t hear the UN condemning the attacks on Israel that ramped up this conflict? I am also not surprised that France and Russia have condemned Israel’s self- defensive actions. Personally, I think Israel was very patient for many years with suicide bombings and rocket attacks across the border, and if they want to put a stop to terror attacks from sponsoring states, it is their right to do so.
