Romans 12:18
There is only one way to actively make enemies, and that is to act in ways which harm others. If we refuse to harm another person, if we live by the Law of Love (which is the Law explained in Torah, for love does no harm to a neighbor) then others might make themselves our enemies, but it will not be by our choice or action. When we live peaceably with all men – as far as it depends on us – God can turn enemies into allies. God is transforming enemies in my life this month, and I can help Him by being gracious and forgiving everyone of everything.
