Why is obedience such a big deal? Because it is the nature of human beings to serve and obey whoever or whatever is our god. Who we obey reveals who we truly love. He wants us to love Him, because we love Him, not because of fear of punishment or some other reason. But He is being careful to tell us over and over again that the one who loves Him will obey His commandments, because there is an enemy of our souls out there who is trying to convince us that obedience doesn’t matter. He does not want us to be deceived by the deceiver.
Micah 3 through 5, Gathering the Lost Sheep

When Jesus came, He began gathering the lost sheep of the house of Israel to Himself (Mat 15:24). We have seen that beginning with Cornelius in Act 10, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ received a warm welcome among Gentiles, while before 100 ad, the Jews had officially closed their doors to Him, and expelled all believers from their synagogues, where they were used to meeting up until then. The division of the two houses, the house of Judah and the house of Israel or Ephraim, continued for a reason. The house of Judah preserved the written Word, the Torah, and the house of Ephraim preserved the Living Word, Messiah Yeshua, and the two witnesses of the One Living God were established. And neither of them encroached on the other. Judah did not embrace Yeshua, even though Yeshua is the living expression of Torah (Joh 1:14), and Ephraim did not embrace Torah, even though Torah is the written expression of Yeshua (Joh 5:46).
Paul told us that this state of affairs would remain until the fullness of Gentiles has come to Him, then Messiah Yeshua will also gather the sheep of the house of Judah to Himself, last of all, (Rom 11:25-26), so that the last will be first and the first last (Mat 20:16).
Psalm 59, The wickedness of wrong words

The central axis describes the wickedness of wrong words. We tend of think of words as a light sin, but wrong words—words which pronounce or agree with lies, or pronounce or agree with cursing—is a central matter. Words have creative and prophetic power to bring to pass the thing spoken, especially if spoken by one in authority. The sin of Satan was to cast doubt on God’s true word. The only power the enemy has over us today is the power we give him if we agree with his lying words.
