The first occurrence.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Gen 1:11
The primitive root.
Strong’s H1876 דשא dasha, a primitive root meaning, “to sprout.” The 3-letter root is dalet + shin + aleph.
dalet ד = the door, thus enter, move, hang
shin ש = two front teeth, thus sharp, press, eat, two, again
aleph א = the ox head, thus strength, power, leader
The story: A new sprout breaks through (dalet) the earth, using its sharp (shin) point, with strength (aleph) seeking the sun.
