We moved to a new house yesterday.
Actually, we started moving yesterday … we thought we had rented a
moving van big enough for all our boxes and furniture, but it turned
just our boxes would fit. And seeing as I have a lot of books in my
library, lots of those boxes were books, which elicted various
grumblings throughout the day. We managed to get most of the boxes, and
our bed, over to our new house, and even a lot of our dishes unpacked
in the kitchen, before collapsing from exhaustion. Today we are moving
the rest of the furniture.
Every time we move, it gets harder, LOL, probably due to age. My
husband and I agree, if we ever have to move again, how nice it would
be to save our money and hire one of those services to come and pack up
and move your house for you. Every bone and muscle in my body ached
this morning
Well, I better start cleaning … the Internet is being turned off at
our old house today (but not yet, much to my surprise, thus this brief
post) and will be turned on at our new house sometime tomorrow, so
posting tomorrow might be later in the day. But, maybe not at all,
depending on my level of energy, LOL. At any rate, it might be a few
days before the Young Earth Old Earth or Revelation series resumes.
I enjoy moving, packing and unpacking. I am a born organizer and redecorater. My hubby thinks I have a small compulsion for a change in my life. I told him it is better to change the household things than to change him. He just laughs at me. We always have fun with each other. I hope you are enjoying your new place.
Lucky you, LOL. We are enjoying our new house, thank you; but it took longer than anticipated to move all our things. We just finally finished up at the old house today. Now we have to start unpacking, LOL.
