Exo 14:1-31 {px3} chiastic structure
The thing that stood out to me is that YHVH knowingly led the children of Israel to a place where they would be trapped with the sea in front of them and Pharaoh’s army behind them. He told Moses to turn back so they could camp there! At the beginning, the people feared the Egyptians. By the end, the people feared YHVH and believed in Him, for even though the obstacles were enormous – could there be a scenario more terrifying? – He was trying to teach His children that no obstacle is greater than He is, even though the natural order would have to be defied! Our God is truly Somebody Big! ♥
