Today’s Old Testament chronological reading is in Genesis 33 and 34.
The Psalms/ Proverbs reading is in Psalm 38.
The New Testament reading is in Matthew 28.
Job, David, and Yeshua went through unimaginable personal pain and suffering, which we have read about. Jacob also – he was ill-used by Laban, he did not have unity in his household but wrestlings between his two wives who were sisters, and was beginning to experience tragedy with his children (Dinah, Simeon, and Levi.) It did not mean that God was punishing them. In fact the blessing of YHVH was on their heads!
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but YHVH delivers him out of them all. Psa 34:19
We saw it with Job, we know it will happen with David, and Jacob, and we saw it with Yeshua today. Your present affliction is not the final chapter of your story, but God is working deliverance for you!

I was just wondering about what time of day your notes are being posted?
thank you!
christine says
Hi Kristi! As soon as I can complete them. I do my own Bible reading when I first get up in the morning. On most days I have completed it and posted the notes by 8 or 9 am Eastern. Occasionally it is later, but the study notes in previous years are always posted by 3:00 am Eastern.
