I use Gmail
for most of my e-mail needs. It is a unique web-based e-mail service
which gives you an unheard of amount of storage space (over 2000 MB)
and allows you to use Google’s excellent search capabilities to find
old e-mails. You don’t need to sort e-mail into folders anymore, just
archive them and search. I have thousands of e-mails archived right now
and have only used 2% of my storage space. And it is free. Did I
mention customizable spam filtering is included? Did I mention no
viruses get through? But unlike Yahoo or Hotmail e-mail, you cannot
sign up for Gmail — it is by invitation only. (Keeps the spammers from
setting up accounts.) I have a bunch of Gmail invites, so if you were
looking for an new e-mail account, and would like to try Gmail, please
let me know. E-mail me at alittleperspective [at] gmail [dot] com and
include Gmail invite in the subject line. Might as well send me a link
to your blog here at Homeschool Blogger too!
