The new moon for the 6th biblical month was seen last night, the night of September 1st. The new moon day itself is always a day of joyful rejoicing for all the good that the Lord has done for us. The 6th biblical month begins the season known in Hebrew and Jewish culture as teshuvah, or repentance. It is a time of examining the heart and life leading up to the Day of Atonement. The next biblical holiday is the 7th biblical month new moon, which is the Feast of Trumpets! Be sure to see the link on the right sidebar for the prophetic significance of the Feast of Trumpets.
