Jesus is Lord of all

I need to remind myself of this, especially during weeks like this. Even though we don’t commemorate December 25th, we do have more family get togethers in late December because, well, m0st of the family does commemorate December 25th. And everyone has time off. So family get togethers means especially clean houses, and cooking lots of food.

But He is Lord – not my schedule, my agenda, my expectations, my neurotic need to appear put together in front of the family, LOL. Let me ne’er forget, Lord, to acknowledge Your preeminent place in all creation, by the way I live my life, walking in Your way of righteousness, and in Your path of peace, one day at a time.
