You know what I love about the Shunammite woman? When Elisha told her to pack up her household and leave for seven years, she didn’t say, “Oh, but the science academy has said nothing about a famine!” or “What a lot of work it will be to move the entire household, there’s no way I can do it!” or “If I leave someone else will take over the house and lands, and then I will be stuck!” No, she packed up her household, and left.
And when the famine was over, and come to find out someone had indeed taken over the house and lands, YHVH made sure that when she went to appeal to the king, her suit would be favorably heard. She didn’t plan anything. She just obeyed. And YHVH had her back.

When we cry aloud to God for help, because we need to be free from that which destroys, as the Good Shepherd, He keeps us secure in Him. He destroys our destroyer, whatever it is. He mends our open wound, whether of the spirit, soul, or body, because He is powerful enough to make us whole again. But let us believe His promise! ♥

The point Stephen was making was that it was not Moses who their fathers’ rejected, but God from being God over them. And the Prophet like Moses whom God had promised to send – the Promised Seed (Deu 18:15) – God also raised up to be a deliverer and a judge, and the chief priests also rejected Him. However, it was not Yeshua they were rejecting, but God from being God over them.
