Secretary Rice yesterday said that Bush administration officials are committed to working “as hard as we possibly can” for the establishment of a Palestinian state. All well and good, but do they have to work so hard establishing it on land which the Lord God gave to Israel as an everlasting covenant? The West Bank (of the Jordan River), the Lord calls the mountains of Samaria and the hill country of Ephraim in the Scriptures.
Here’s an idea: why cannot the Palestinian state be established on the EAST BANK of the Jordan? I know that is Jordanian territory, but Palestinians are ethnically Jordanians, and Jordan has a lot more room with a lot less people than Israel. Why isn’t the world community screaming at King Abdullah for his hard- heartedness, in keeping the Palestinians refugees, when he could welcome them as fully- functioning citizens into Jordan?
By the way, keep your eyes on tropical depression 10 forming out in the Gulf of Mexico. May God have mercy, and open the eyes of Bush administration officials, to the correlation of pressure on Israel to divide its land with devastating natural disasters on our soil.
