I keep a 3×5 card file box with scriptures I pray over my children (any anyone else I am praying for). Inside are tabbed dividers. Each divider has a child’s name, and each child has their own color index card. Behind their names I have put on their color-coded 3×5 cards, the scriptures I am praying over them. I have since added other tabs for other family members, and prayer projects.
I don’t pray my own prayers over people. I pray the word of God over people and situations:
spiritual warfare, part one
spiritual warfare, part two
spiritual warfare, part three
spiritual warfare, part four
The first card I put behind each child’s tab, is their identity + destiny scripture. When each of my children were born, the LORD spoke to me a verse over their life, which I often prayed over them. How do you know what a child’s identity verse is? Ask God to reveal it to you, and He will.
Identity + destiny verses for some of my children and family members:
In my family, each identity scripture came with a two-word description of that person: “Precious Pearl” for Mat 13, “Refreshing Oasis” for Isa 35, “Sparkling Jewel” for Isa 54, and “Beloved Son” for Gal 4. This is the true reality of their identity, how God sees that specific person. And all His judgments are just, and true. ♥
Some general scriptures I prayed over my children, and pray over my grandchildren, when there is nothing noticeably wrong in their lives:
Joh 10:3-5
Eph 1:18-21

I love praying the Scriptures over my children. I have a similar format but I have my prayers written out behind dividers and in a small 3 ring binder.
