I am struck this morning by the repeat of the theme, that the nations will know YHVH when He is hallowed before their eyes, magnifying Himself and sanctifying Himself (Eze 38:16, 23) in the destruction of Gog, the enemy coming against Israel in the latter days (Eze 39). Why does He need to sanctify Himself when He is already holy? Because of the egregious lies that are being told about Him in our day, and believed; that He is really the evil one and Lucifer the benevolent. He will purify Himself of those lies. May it come quickly!
Psalm 146, Reverse parallelism
Additional studies: Psalms, Book Five: Psalms 107-150 Index
There is no strong paragraph division {p} at the end of the psalm as is usual. I looked ahead, and there isn’t another strong paragraph division until the end of Psa 150, so Psa 146-150 is proclaiming a single theme: Praise to YHVH, the only fitting conclusion to to the hymn book of Israel!
2 John 1, Heresies in the Church

The Gnostic heresy implied a hidden knowledge closed to outsiders or newbies. Interestingly enough, the word “occult” means, “hidden,” and all religions and philosophies in the world today which claim an elevated knowledge, closed to outsiders, are derived from Gnosticism and occultism, its parent. God is not that way, for He has told the end from the beginning, He is upfront about the whole kit and kaboodle from the outset.
