Finding Messiah in Triennial Ha’am bemitun’nim
Moses appealed to YHVH, and He instructed him to appoint seventy elders of Israel to help him in bearing the burden of the people. To equip them for this work, YHVH took of the Spirit that was on Moses—the Holy Spirit of God—and put it on the seventy also. We know that it was the Spirit of God, because when they received it, they prophesied by that Spirit. When Joshua was shocked that others than the anointed prophet—Moses— prophesied, Moses said,
“Would God that all YHVH’s people were prophets, that YHVH would put His Spirit upon them!” Num 11:29
Yeshua, the Prophet like Moses, did the same.
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place, where He Himself would come. Luk 10:1
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through Your name.” Luk 10:17
The same incident is recorded in Matthew 10, where it is written that He gave them power over unclean spirits, and to heal every sickness and disease.
Now John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.” And Yeshua said unto him, “Forbid him not, for he who is not against us is for us.” Luk 9:49-50
Even the disciples of Yeshua did the same as Joshua, the “disciple” of Moses.
