ESSENTIAL STUDIES.
Jeremiah 6, The everlasting paths
Additional studies: Jeremiah Index
Without God’s initiative to speak, man is left in darkness, as our natural state is separated from Him (Isa 59:2). Revelation through creation shows us that God exists, but revelation through His Word is necessary for us to know His will, His way of right living, and His plan of salvation: His everlasting paths. Yet He does not hide Himself or the knowledge of His paths. He invites us to ask Him, and He will disclose them.

We can also see that the way God established equity (fair treatment), and justice and righteousness in Jacob, was through the giving of His testimonies and ordinances in Torah. Until the 20th century, the body of Law found in Torah was considered the foundation of all civil and criminal law in Western Civilization, as well it should be. In our modern day, as both church and society reject Torah, we have a corresponding increase of hatred, murder, unrest, partial and preferential treatment, immorality, and a shocking disregard for true justice from courts and governments. As His people see this, and they repent, and restore His Torah and His word in its rightful place of honor and obedience. He will likewise restore our nation (2 Chr 7:14). Thank You for Your wonderful promises, Father! ♥

Now you know why they fell back to the ground. YHVH God, incarnate in Jesus of Nazareth, declared to them His name. And His awesome majesty was so great as He spoke His name, that they could not keep their feet. Many times they tried to take Him to kill Him, but the only time they succeeded was when Jesus allowed Himself to be taken. Notice how many times in John, Jesus says of Himself, “I AM.” (Keep reading…)
