The wrath of YHVH is reserved for false shepherds and false prophets who have scattered His flock and caused His people to err — not for the individual sheep of His flock who believed them, because they had the reputation of being the anointed of YHVH. For the individual sheep, YHVH’s promise is gathering them again, and giving them true shepherds who will teach His ways in truth, in Messiah Yeshua. So keep praying for all YHVH has in front of us to pray for! He has good in store for them.
Psalm 119:65-72, Reverse parallelism

God is good, and does good: His judgment is good, His word, commandments, and statutes are good. And if we went our own way and not His, but affliction caused us to realize His way was better, then it was good of Him to allow the affliction of our own way to come upon us. ♥
Hebrews 12, Strangers and sojourners
Additional studies: Hebrews Index
Abraham dwelt in tents here on this earth, having left the city of men, because he was looking for, not just “a” city, but “the” city, whose builder was God. Abraham changed his citizenship from the city of Ur, a city built by men, to the city of God. God has prepared a heavenly city for those who have renounced earthly citizenship, who live as strangers and exiles on the earth as did their forefather Abraham.
