I was thinking about sheep going astray this morning. They don’t set out trying to get themselves lost. They just wander away, looking for greener grass, I suppose, and then they look up and they are alone, and have no idea where the rest of the flock is, or the shepherd. Lost sheep do not seek the shepherd — the shepherd seeks the lost sheep. He looks for them until he finds them.
If you are of the flock, beloved, Your Shepherd always has you in His thoughts and in His sights. If you get too far afield, He will bring you back, never fear. ♥
Tomorrow we will look at Psalm 119 in its entirety, and then move on to finish the Psalms by the end of the year, Lord willing.
