I don’t talk much about politics here, but yesterday the President gave a speech at the Naval Academy outlining America’s strategy for victory in Iraq. I was very impressed. It was clear, convincing, and ranks up with his better speeches, such as the one before Congress after 9-11, or the one addressing the U.N. before the war in Iraq started. There has been a lot of debate in the press about the Iraq war, but the press do not get intelligence briefings, and the President illuminates what we have accomplished with the advantage of facts, not speculation, and what we hope to accomplish.
