Mark 4:18-19
I noticed a few times in the past week, that indicated to me there might be some baby weeds trying to get a foothold in the soil of my heart. It is so much easier to pull those suckers when they are babies, than when they have fully grown and are full of thorns!
For me I need to keep an eye on my firstfruits. God is first, and desires to be in His rightful place, first place, my heart, life, and practice, right? Does He get the first minutes of my day instead of just some minutes when I have managed to squeeze Him in along with everything else? Does He get the first portion of my increase instead of the middle or last portion? If I am too busy and forget, even though I remember later, then I am too busy. ♥
