Western Civ is the house built on the foundation of biblical truth. Take this photo from a pro-communism / socialism rally this summer in one of our big cities (I wish I had written down which one when I saved the pic – if anyone knows, please send me an email).
They are against work, which is why they want someone else to pay for everything. Making your own money to pay for your own support requires, well, work.
But what does the Scripture say?
Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates. Exo 20:9-10a
The command to rest on the seventh day is preceded by the command to work on the first through sixth days.
