But notice that obedience to commandments is a matter of the heart, not just outward or rote compliance. God knows that rote compliance may work in the short term, but it is never a long- term solution. The heart must be circumcised (the fleshliness or worldliness cut away) so that it longs to serve and worship God. Obedience flows from the heart that loves Him wholly.

1 Kin 10:23 is an out- of- place verse, which leads me to believe it is an element of an even greater structure, still waiting to be uncovered – for there are no truly out- of- place verses in Scripture! But it is telling us, that King Solomon was the greatest king who ever ruled in the ancient world – something you will never hear on the Discovery Channel, even though it is true. Ancient history today is taught as if Israel was not even a blip on the radar screen, even though Israel under Solomon surpassed the glory of all other kingdoms and empires of the ancient world.

Strong’s H4191, מות muwth, “to die, to put to death:” The most straightforward reading of the parable the Hebrew Root Word is telling, is of blood, or the life (mem, as the life is in the blood) nailed (vav) to the cross (tav). The Hebrew language itself, in its letters and words, is prophesying from the beginning of creation of the death Messiah Yeshua would suffer in our place. By His death He defeated death forever. If you would like your mind further blown, it was the Assyrians who invented execution by crucifixion, as far as we know, thousands of years after God first spoke to Adam in the Garden, and a thousand years before the Romans adopted it and put Yeshua to death on the cross.
