I have added a link to Exodus from Darkness ministry in the blog roll under evangelium. Daniel Shayesteh is an ex-radical, ex- Muslim who particpated in the Islamic revolution of Iran back in the 70s when the Americans were taken hostage and the embassy closed. He went on to become a political leader in Iran, who was imprisoned when he began to question the policies of the Ayatollah. He escaped and went to Turkey with his family, and became a doctor of philosophy and taught in university, and from there to Europe, where God called him out of darkness and into the light of Jesus Christ. His testimony is remarkable, as is his love for his Lord who translated him from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of the beloved Son. His message to the West and to the Church is so timely in that Iran is fighting a proxy war with Israel right now.
Daniel was at Answers in Genesis this week and spoke to the staff at chapel; AiG has posted the recording (Broken link, active July 18, 2006) of his message for anyone to hear. Please do listen to it, I do not think you will be disappointed.
