“Therefore say unto the children of Israel: ‘I am YHVH, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am YHVH your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning which I swore to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage. I am YHVH.’” Exo 6:6-8
Egypt is a prophetic type for the kingdom of darkness, where God’s people are enslaved. Moses is a prophetic type for Messiah, who God sends to deliver them. When YHVH rescues us from our bondage and from under the burden of the kingdom of darkness through His Servant Messiah Yeshua, then He takes us as His people, and He becomes our God.

Here is the chiastic structure formed by this section of Scripture.
And its central axis, the sentence fragment:
And seven days were fulfilled … Exo 7:25a
Why out of all that could be the central axis and the main point of the passage, is this the central axis? Seven days is a full week, and the seventh of those days is a day of rest from the labor we inherited as a result of sin, making Sabbath rest the first teacher of the Gospel of grace in Torah. It’s a length of time representing a complete whole, in which there were no plagues or judgments.
The central axis highlights the fact that God is providing a fulfillment of time, after one plague ends, and before the next begins, so that men can reflect on what has just transpired, meditate on its meaning, and come to repentance, and then salvation, as the miracles attest that the “kingdom of God is at hand.”
Now after John was put in prison, Yeshua came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe the Gospel.” Mar 1:14-15
Or do you despise the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Rom 2:4
Exo 8:20-9:35
8:20-32 {p} The plague of flies, but no flies in Goshen
9:1-7 {p} The plague of pestilence on the cattle
9:8-12 {s} The plague of boils
9:13-21 {p} Warning that there will be a plague of hail
9:22-35 {p} The plague of hail
“And I will separate in that day the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end that you may know that I AM YHVH in the midst of the earth. And I will put a division between My people and your people; tomorrow shall this sign be.” Exo 8:22-23
The Hebrew is literally, “I will set a ransom between My people and your people.” The ransom which has been set as the distinction between YHVH’s people and the people of the kingdom of darkness, is the blood of the Passover Lamb, who is Yeshua.
