1 John 4:4
As I was meditating on how tired I get sometimes of waging the battle for the mind – taking every thought captive for the obedience to Christ – being on guard for lies, accusations, and negative thoughts slipping in past my ears or eyes, and uprooting them before they make it to my heart – I heard this encouraging word. It doesn’t matter how often the enemy tries to assail you. You are still stronger than he is, because of He who is in you, who is greater than he is. I couldn’t get the picture of Clark Kent out of my mind, LOL. What is visible on the exterior is a mild- mannered reporter. But underneath, he is SUPERMAN! And so are we! ♥
