Did you notice that both Moses and Elijah were with Him in His glory? Moses is the prophet who instructed Israel in God’s Law, the Torah. Moses represents the Word of God, and obedience to that Word. Elijah is the prophet who worked the greatest number of miraculous signs by the power of the Spirit. Elijah represents the Spirit of God, and the gifts of the Spirit. The Word, and obedience to it, and the Spirit, and His gifts will be with Yeshua on His right hand and on His left when He appears in His glory. We have a habit of planting our flag in one camp or the other, in the Word and Obedience camp or the Spirit and Miracles camp. But the Word and the Spirit are not at odds. The Torah and Spirit are one, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Mat 12:34). The Word that God voiced, which Moses wrote down, came from His heart, His Holy Spirit. And, the two, correctly applied, will never contradict each other.
