What does it mean for us to be with YHVH? Webster’s says that with is a function word indicating a participant in an action; the object of attention; agreement; combination or accompaniment; on the side of. If we are with YHVH, then we participate in His action. He is already walking in His way, and He invites us to walk with Him, to accompany Him. He has revealed His way of walking in Torah and throughout Scripture. If we are with YHVH, then He is the object of our attention, and other things are not exalted above Him. If we are with Him, then He is with us. When YHVH is with us, He becomes a participant in our action. He accompanies us on the journey of our life, and He is on our side. We and the things which concern us, become the object of His attention!

If I follow His leading and His guidance, then goodness and mercy shall likewise follow me all the days of my life. As believers we start with His leading and guidance explained as His general will for all mankind, found in the Books of Moses, Genesis through Deuteronomy. As we follow His general leading and guidance, we grow in wisdom and faithfulness. Then He will fine tune His leading and guidance as His individual will for our personal lives. His individual will for us will never contradict His general will for all mankind.

Peter debunked the Spirit- went- away- with- the- apostles argument right here, when he says that the Promise (of the Father, Act 1:4) is not only for his generation, but for his children’s generation, and ALL who are afar off, AS MANY as the Lord our God WILL call. “Will” is a future tense word. Anyone who has heard the call of Jesus to come to Him, to receive His substitutionary death on the cross, and to become an adopted child of the Living God, has been CALLED, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is necessary for him to be empowered to witness to the glory and grace of Jesus Christ.
