We have already seen that Isaac, as the son of the promise, is a Hebrew Testament type for Messiah, the Promised Seed. In Gen 24, Abraham (the Father) sends his servant (a.k.a. the Holy Spirit) to search for the bride (the Church) of Isaac (the Promised Seed, the Son). This event occurs after the “death and resurrection” of the Promised Seed in Gen 22. In the end, the Holy Spirit, I mean, the servant, brings the Bride to the Son, as the Son goes out to meet them.
Now if we accept that the history in Torah is painting a prophetic picture of the betrothal and marriage of the Bride and the Bridegroom, these few details are speaking to us of the times we are today living in. We are on a journey, led by the Ruach haKodesh, and at the end of that journey, we will meet our Bridegroom face to face, amen?

The first step in purification, in sanctification, is instruction. We have to learn what is right and wrong, so we can repent of what is wrong, and do what is right. This is the reason YHVH gave His Torah to Moses on Mt. Sinai. All it is, is instruction in righteousness and sin, so that we would know the definition, the difference between the two. One of the charges YHVH brings against the priests in this chapter, is that they did not distinguish nor teach the people the difference between clean and unclean. God wants His priests, His prophets to teach His people His instruction (the Hebrew meaning of the word ‘torah’) and what the distinctions are. Why? So that they can adjust their behavior and change their ways, voluntarily.
A wise man listens to instruction and correction. It is much better to change our ways through instruction, because it is easier for us! When we will not change our ways by instruction, then we have chosen the harder way: we have chosen to have our ways changed for us by consequences for sin. YHVH never begins with consequences — He always begins with instruction. Consequences are harder and much more painful to go through. But it will get the job done.

To build is Strong’s H1129 בנה banah, “to build, to erect” (as a house or temple). The ancient pictographs are bet + nun + hey.
bet ב = house (house, household, family, in, within)
nun נ = seed (continue, heir, son)
hey ה = man w/ upraised arms (look, reveal, wonder, worship, breath)
During the era of the patriarchs, the women of the family made a new tent panel every year, that would be attached to the existing structure, replacing an older, worn tent panel. Thus over the course of several years the entire tent was renewed. The Hebrew Root Word parable is the house (bet) continues (nun) to breathe (to live, hey). In the same way that the physical structure of the house continues by the addition of new tent panels, the biological household or family is renewed by the addition of sons.
