About the matching A.2 pair: to restore is in Hebrew, Strong’s H7725 שוב shuv, “to return, to restore.” The Hebrew Root Word parable being told is to again (shin) be secured (vav) to the house (bet). The house we have left, to which we desire to be restored, is His house, because history began with Father God, a beautiful garden, and the two children He had made to dwell with Him forever.
Banner is in Hebrew, Strong’s H5251, nec, “something lifted up;” from Strong’s H5264 נסס nacac, “to gleam from afar,” i.e., to be conspicuous as a signal. The Hebrew Root Word parable is of continuing (nun) to grab hold (sin), i.e.; to lift up as an ensign, standard, or banner, in order to provide refuge (second sin, in its meaning of protection).
Please do not miss, that we are only cast aside when we have first cast Him aside. And even when we have cast Him aside, being cast aside by Him shakes us up a little bit, so that we may be restored to Him. When we have regained our proper fear, respect, and reverence for Him, He becomes our banner held aloft, so that we may come under Him to take refuge. ♥
