But then I realized, it was not the word of Sennacherib which came to pass, but the word of YHVH. With Sennacherib’s word, all the circumstances seemed to say that his word would surely come to pass – but it didn’t. With YHVH’s word concerning the Babylonians, all the circumstances seemed to say that His word would NOT surely come to pass – the Babylonians came with gifts and friendship and esteem. But, it did. And that is the strong theme. ♥

Deu 6, Moses’ explanation to Israel of what it means to keep the 1st Commandment, Worship and serve YHVH God alone, he instructs them to give ear to, pay heed, observe, and teach this word to the next generation. Here in Psa 78 we learn that when the fathers do so, they open the door for their children to set their hope in God, and not forget His wonderful works. God is giving us wisdom so that the children do not make the mistakes of the fathers; so that instead, the children grow up to believe in God and trust in His salvation (Messiah Yeshua), Psa 78:22. John 3, On being born again
Additional studies: John Index
All those who are born into the world, are born after their father Adam, are are thus born under a sentence of death. All mankind is mortal. Man is born of water, as babies are born through the amniotic fluid of their mother. All those born a second time, are born of their Father God, through the Spirit, and enter into everlasting life. They escape the death sentence of their earthly father, and enter into the life everlasting of their heavenly Father. This rebirth, what the Greek Testament Scripture often terms the new birth, is a key component of salvation, and separates those who merely talk the talk, from those who walk the walk in truth, bearing the fruit of the Spirit.
