Psa 45:6-7 through Rom 12:12 was a loose end from last week. Psa 105:4 begins this week.
My takeaway from this in my prayer journal:
Just as in last week’s Shabbat Prophetic, where there was the matching pairs of believe and live, with trust and obey, here there is a two-part central axis with the matching elements of God’s love and care, and our belief in Him. He is emphasizing to the Body in this season that He loves us, so we can trust Him and believe Him. The element of obedience does not go away because of our faith – the central axis is doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD – but surrounding that central core of obedience, are layer upon layer of thanksgiving, grace, His love and our belief. When we are afflicted, we can seek Him with patience, because we know that surely there is a reward for the righteous, and our Father is the just Judge who will judge our case. We can therefore rest and have peace, for we have been atoned for, made clean, and are set apart. His coming as King, hastening righteousness, is on the horizon!
