(Because the structure is so complex, I am going to post explanation first, then the shabbat prophetic word.)
A pair: Restore is “shuv” in Hebrew, Strong’s H7725, and means “to turn about, to return.” It is the root of the word “teshuvah,” meaning “repentance.” As we cry out to Him to turn us about and to be returned to Him, He will turn us about, work repentance in us, and return us to His still and peaceful abundant waters.
B.1 pair: Luk 13:34 and Luk 15:2a (1B.1.1b&2b) reveals that the professional theologians and religious leaders, who complain of the work YHVH does and who complain of His mercy and generosity toward those who do not deserve it, are the ones who have killed His prophets, stoned those whom He sent, and prevented His children from gathering under His wings. This mirrors similar statements made by Yeshua in the Gospels (for example, see Mat 23:13). Psa 80:19b (1B.1.1a) uses a Hebrew idiom, “Cause Your face to shine.” To understand its meaning, let’s look at its earlier use in the Priestly Blessing, Num 6:24-26:
“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Num 6:24-26
“The literalness of this translation … fails to convey the court imagery of the biblical idiom. In biblical idiom the king shows favor (the verb ḥanan) to his subjects by giving them audience, access to ‘the light of his face,’ whereas his disfavor is expressed by ‘hiding’ his face from them.” – Jewish Virtual Library
The idiom, ‘Cause your face to shine’ indicates favor, acceptance, and access to His presence. It indicates a positive reception. This is precisely how Yeshua behaved when He received sinners and ate with them (1B.1.2a), which earned the disapproval of the professional religious leaders. By receiving sinners, He was not condoning their sin, for He was consistent in His admonishment: ‘Go, and sin no more.’ But He caused His face to shine precisely upon those who were open to Him to save them.
He saved us by the hand of the Son of David, by His mercy, not by works of righteousness which we have done. However His words are more permanent than heaven and earth, and will by no means pass away. His will is expressed by His word. Therefore we do our will no longer (we do not continue in sin because our sins have been forgiven), but walk in obedience to His word.
B.4 pair: We forgive our brother when he repents, just as we ourselves were forgiven when we repented of our sins.
B.2 pair: What is possible with God will also be possible for us: YHVH will heal us (He will give us His strategy to receive healing) if we have faith even as small as a mustard seed, for through Yeshua, the Blessed King who comes in the name of YHVH, there is peace with God on earth and in heaven.
B.3 pair: Be faithful in your natural responsibilities: financial, civic, and relational. If you do what is good, it is the responsibility of rulers to praise you. Being unjust in your natural responsibilities: financial, civic, and relational, provokes fear of rulers, for they have a responsibility to be a terror to evil works but not to good. Natural responsibilities are the least thing which will indicate faithfulness or injustice in spiritual responsibilities: for if we render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, we will render to God the things that are God’s.
B.5 pair: Passover: The day the firstborn of Egypt were struck, is the day of the first Passover, when Israel went out free from slavery to Egypt. Passover is a prophetic type of our salvation, for the blood of the Passover Lamb – Messiah Yeshua – is applied to the doorposts of our hearts, and the angel of Death passes over us when he sees the blood. It marks the day of our deliverance from the kingdom of darkness and our bondage to sin. So on that day, YHVH sanctified us to Himself. What does it mean to be sanctified? To become without blemish or defect, to become as if we had never borne the yoke of slavery to sin.
C pair: Because He lives, I live to declare Him!
Central axis: The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Cry out to Me, return to Me! I will turn you about, work repentance in you, and lead you to My still, peaceful, abundant waters. I will receive your cry positively, I will save you by My mercy through Messiah Yeshua, and My favor will be with you. Your sins are forgiven: and it is granted you to walk by My eternal word, doing My will in the earth (not the will of sin, the flesh, or the devil). Remember your Passover: you have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and bondage to sin. I have sanctified you to Myself! Extend this forgiveness you yourselves have received to others, and do not begrudge it! Be faithful in your natural responsibilities: financial, civic, and relational. Natural responsibilities are the least thing which will indicate faithfulness or injustice in spiritual responsibilities: for if you render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, you will render to Me the things that are Mine – and as you do these things: walk in My word and My will, in forgiveness, and in faithfulness, I will increase your spiritual responsibilities, authority, and faith. What is possible for Me will also be possible for you: I will heal you and give you My strategy to receive healing, for through Yeshua, the Blessed King who comes in My name, heaven and earth is at peace with Me. Because I live, you live to declare My great works! I love the place where Jacob dwells – especially your gates, O Zion!
