Torah study basics

So before I get off into what we have been learning in Bible study, we have to review a few things about the way God communicates in His Word – at least the most common ways He communicates in Torah. The God- breathed paragraph divisions, indicating when God was wanting a new topic to start, are explained in this post: The Ten Commandments. These paragraph divisions will play a major role in helping us to understand the point that God is trying to get across, so I will be referring to them a lot. The other literary devices God uses, which are common in Torah, I can explain as we get to them. I am really quite excited!
