Next week we will be in the annual Torah portion Bo, “Go,” in Exodus 10:1-13:16, in order to make the adjustment from the rabbinic Torah calendar, which contained a 13th month in 2024, to the sighted moon Torah calendar, which did not contain a 13th month in 2024. We will be on the sighted moon Torah calendar from this point forward. There is no adjustment needed for the triennial Torah calendar.
Essential Studies.
Genesis 41:1-44:17, Central axis: The love of the Father
The highlight of this entire Torah portion is the greatness of the father’s love for his son Benjamin. Now all of this narrative is prophetic of Messiah and the gospel of grace, and likewise the central axis prophesies of the greatness of the Father’s love for His son! However please do not miss that we are in Benjamin’s place in the Prophetic Type! Oh, the greatness of the love and the mercy of God! We have not comprehended it! ♥
Nehemiah 10 and 11, And separating ourselves from the peoples of the lands
