ESSENTIAL STUDIES.
Judges 2, Rise up, O men of God
Additional studies: Judges Index
The next generation must hear the great works which YHVH has done, if they are to know that He alone is God, so that false gods are not a trap and a snare for them. And of course the mothers must make His great works known, but the command is directed specifically at the fathers. Joshua’s generation did not make YHVH’s mighty works known to their sons, or their sons’ sons, and a generation arose that did not know YHVH. Yeshua said, the son does what he sees his father doing (Joh 5:19), not what he sees his mother doing. Rise up, O men of God, and have done with lesser things! Give heart and soul and mind and strength to serve the King of kings!
Psalm 121 through 125, Repeating Themes

The themes repeated in today’s Psalm: YHVH is my help; YHVH surrounds and preserves Israel; The throne of the house of David established/ The scepter of wickedness uprooted; Peace upon Jerusalem and Israel. Circumstances can be liars when they don’t align with God’s Word. When you pray God’s Word over the circumstance, you prophesy its outcome over it, carrying all the weight and authority of the Prophets when you do. Of course, because it is Thus saith YHVH! ♥
Mark 16, And Peter
Additional studies: Mark Index
So the angel was given a specific message to convey. “Tell His disciples — and Peter;” so that Peter would know as far as God was concerned, he was still to be included in the group. Peter experienced first hand what all of us have experienced. None of us are worthy to follow Jesus based on our own merit, and all of us have done something that gets us kicked out of God’s club. That is why Jesus died and rose again! Our sins have been forgiven us! We are not in God’s club because of our worthiness, but because of His excellent and perfect worthiness!
