The Chiastic structure:
The surrounding elements, of which there can be no doubt, force the C pair together, but what is the link?
In 1C, the repeat of hidden and concealed stood out to me.
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Cor 2:7-8
Yeshua was a sharp sword, a polished arrow in YHVH’s quiver, but because the plan of the gospel was hidden to the rulers of this age, they crucified the Lord of glory.
Thus, 2C. To be cut off in the prime of life seems as if Yeshua’s life was a labor in vain. Yet surely His vindication is with YHVH! He is raised from the dead, and by His death and resurrection destroyed forever the plans, purposes, and power of the enemy!
