Numbers 17, The Messiah Sign of Resurrection

Aaron as high priest is another Prophetic Type and foreshadow of Messiah from Torah. The leaders of the congregation of the children of Israel rejected Messiah Yeshua also from mediating for them. But just as the dead stick of Aaron’s rod was placed in a box, and when it was opened, it was found to have budded with new life, bringing forth both flowers and ripe almonds, so the dead body of Messiah Yeshua was placed in the tomb, and when it was opened, He was not there, but was found to have been raised with new life. By this Sign of Resurrection Life, YHVH puts away the complaints of the children of Israel.

In this History that Prophesies, Messiah (who David foreshadows by Prophetic Type) reveres YHVH and His presence, and builds His house, that is, His family, His body of believers. This has been His work for the past 2000 years. However when His enemies hear that all Israel had gathered together to anoint Him King (this day is soon coming!) they marshal their forces to destroy them. Instead He destroys them and all their false idols; so that His fame and His fear come upon all the nations. And King Yeshua reigns!

In our culture, we tend to view falsehood or deceit as one of the lesser sins. Yet to YHVH, it is an abomination: something twisted and dark, inspiring horror.
