ESSENTIAL STUDIES.
1 Chronicles 16, Commanded Joy

Does the parable for “to rejoice” imply someone can turn away from a downcast aspect to a glistening, joyful one? I believe, yes! If we choose to focus on our blessings (forget not all His benefits, Psa 103:2) and praise Him for them – admittedly as an act of will at first, since we likely won’t feel like it given a downcast emotional state – the feelings do follow when we persist, because they are attached. They’re like the caboose which follows the engine of YHVH’s truth when we choose to rejoice.
Proverbs 21:1-30, Chiastic structure

If a nation has unjust leadership, and YHVH has not turned their hearts to justice, like rivers of water, when He can, what does that say? Why has He not? I think the wise among His children would do well to ponder this. To find the answer to that question would be a better use of time than all the campaigning and politicking in the world. (I have a feeling the answer lies in the roadmap to national restoration.) Be that as it may, not even the wisdom, understanding, the counsel of unjust leaders, nor all their power or might, will prevail against YHVH. That comforts me. ♥
