Those who trust in YHVH are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. Psa 125:1
TO TRUST. Strong’s H982 בטח batach, the family surrounded by the wall.
TO BE (NOT) MOVED. Strong’s H4131 מוט mowt, water added within, or green as a branch.
TO ABIDE. Strong’s H3427 ישב yashab, a primitive root meaning, “to sit down.”
yud י = closed hand, thus work, throw, worship
shin ש = two front teeth, thus sharp, press, eat, two, again
bet ב = house, thus house, household, family, in, within
The story: When work (yud) is ended, we press (shin) into the house (bet), to sit down at the end of our day of labor.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so YHVH surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. Psa 125:2
TO SURROUND. Strong’s H5436 סבב sabab, a primitive root meaning, “to circle, surround, encompass.”
sin ס = the thorn, thus grab, hate, protect
bet ב = the house, thus house, household, family, in, within
bet ב = the house, thus house, household, family, in, within
The story: to turn (sin, as one turns away from a thorn to avoid it) within (bet) again and again (second bet). The cognate words of dizziness, drunkenness, express the idea of going around in a circle, thus, to encircle or surround.

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. Psa 125:3
TO (NOT) REST. Strong’s H5117 נוח nuach, continuing securely outside.
TO ALLOT. Strong’s H1485, goral, a concrete object meaning, “the lot,” that is, the portion which fell to me by lot – my inheritance; from an unnamed, unused primitive root meaning, “to be rough.” Without the 3-letter root, we cannot find the story.
TO REACH OUT. Strong’s H7971 סלח shalach, a sharp point at the tip of a staff like a shoot of a young plant when it breaks through the barrier of the earth; thus to send forth.

Do good, O YHVH, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts. Psa 125:4
TO DO GOOD, TO BE GOOD. Strong’s H2895 טוב tove, a primitive root meaning, “to be good, pleasant.”
tet ט = basket, thus surround, contain, hold, mud
vav ו = tent peg, thus add, secure, hook
bet ב = house, thus house, household, family, in, within
The story: The enclosure (tet) joined (vav) with its contents (bet in the sense of within, as a basket holds whatever it contains). “Good” means the exact opposite of “void:” instead of the enclosure being empty (void), it is instead filled with its contents.
UPRIGHT, TO BE UPRIGHT. Strong’s H3477 ישר yashar, the hand holding the cord as a straight plumb line.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, YHVH shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel! Psa 125:5
TO TURN ASIDE. Strong’s H5186 נטה natah, actually meaning, to stretch forth or out, as the squash extends its vines outward. So, those who stretch forth their hands to crooked ways.
TO LEAD AWAY. Strong’s H3212 ילך yalak, so grasping the staff in the palm, as an aid in walking.
TO BE AT PEACE. Strong’s H7965 שלם shalom, to be complete, with nothing extra or nothing lacking.
