yogev cabernet sauvignon & shiraz samson, binyamina winery;
unleavened bread;
garlic and lemon hummus;
selection of olives;
not quite waldorf salad;
roast lamb with charmoula;
lentils and rice;
slow roasted beets;
chocolate mousse and lemon mousse.
tuesday 15 apr unleavened bread menu:
unleavened crackers and cheese;
unleavened popovers;
glazed meatloaf (use unleavened crackers);
garlic mashed potatoes;
roasted broccoli.
wednesday 16 apr unleavened bread menu:
unleavened bread;
spinach salad;
lentil stew;
moroccan fish;
brown rice.
thursday 17 apr unleavened bread: leftovers or out to dinner.
friday 18 apr unleavened bread sabbath feast menu:
olive garden copycat salad and dressing;
grilled artichokes (minus the bacon, or sub beef bacon);
aunt anne’s italian meatballs;
spaghetti sauce (leave out italian sausage);
garlic buttered pasta;
fig and almond tarts.
saturday apr 19 sabbath of rest: leftovers.
sunday 20 apr firstfruits feast menu (resurrection sunday!):
deviled eggs;
teriyaki barbequed chicken (marinate chicken in teriyaki, then grill with bbq sauce);
citrus, melon, and pineapple fruit salad;
seven layer salad;
grandma’s potato salad;
cream cheese pound cake with strawberries and cream.
monday 21 apr 7th day unleavened bread menu:
ancho chile marinated chicken, grilled;
cilantro lime rice;
refried black beans;
fajita marinated onions and peppers, grilled;
restaurant- style salsa;
roasted corn salsa;
guacamole;
chocolate ice cream.
The holiday week ends after sundown on the 21st.
