1. May I share your Scripture Pictures on social media?
Of course you may! They were created to share! Thank you for sharing them – let’s spread the Word of God to a wide audience!
2. May I change the Scripture Picture before I share it?
I have given permission to add borders, or to add a church or ministry name, or event information or something similar over the top of the finished picture, but the picture itself may not be altered and then shared as if it was original with Scripture Pictures or A Little Perspective. If you have a specific alteration in mind you can always contact me at alittleperspective @ gmail.com.
3. May I use a Scripture Picture for my blog post (website, bulletin cover, ministry graphic, etc.)?
Yes you may. Scripture Pictures are free to use and share. Our website address is the attribution and must remain on any finished graphic you produce with the Scripture Picture. A link back to our website would also be nice. Thank you. ♥
4. May I put a Scripture Picture on a t-shirt (mug, poster, card, etc.) to sell?
No you may not. One day I hope to have those items available.
5. I need a high resolution copy of a Scripture Picture so that I may have it printed. Where can I find it?
We did have high resolution file galleries posted for that purpose, however we have had to remove the high resolution galleries as we discovered the images were being downloaded, the watermark removed, and sold. By Christians, LOL. One day I hope to have high resolution prints available.
If you are a church or ministry and need a high resolution file, we will gladly send it to you absolutely free of charge. Just email Christine at alittleperspective@gmail.com and give me a few days to get back to you with it. Permission is still granted to use the Scripture Picture files posted here for websites and blog posts with a link back. Thank you for your support!
(Original answer to this question, updated August 2018: When I began making Scripture Pictures, my only goal was to make more beautiful versions of Scripture posts I was seeing on Facebook. From the beginning they were sized to optimize web server space. I only recently realized people might want to print them. Some are now available as high resolution files, and more are being added all the time. Please note that they may be used and printed for personal or ministry use, but they may not be sold.)
6. Can I purchase a print of a Scripture Picture from you?
I am not set up to sell prints at the moment, but one day I hope to have those available.
7. I would like to request a verse be made into a Scripture Picture. Where do I do this?
Right now I am not set up to take requests, but you may leave your request in the comments, just in case everything works out and I am able to make it. If you have a particular ministry project in mind, please feel free to email me at alittleperspective [at] gmail [dot] com.
8. What program do you use to create the Scripture Pictures?
I use Photoshop Elements 8. I cannot recommend a tutorial or class to learn how to use the program; I learned in an unconventional way, and probably do not use all the features in the way they were intended.
9. What kind of images do you use to create the Scripture Pictures?
I have posted a helpful round up of sites I frequent to collect beautiful images to use for the backgrounds. I also use some of my own images. The low resolution files, meant to be shared on social media or to illustrate blog posts and the like, are set to 72 dpi and are 900 x 900 pixels. I use Photoshop Elements’ ‘Save for Web’ feature to further compress the file size without compromising the picture quality. The high resolution files, meant to be printed, are set to 300 dpi and are 3750 x 3750 pixels. I use Photoshop Elements’ ‘Save As’ feature, set to its maximum image quality, to end up with the highest quality printed picture as possible.
Please be aware of copyright issues with pictures not from your own camera, even when obtained from one of the sites linked above.
10. Why do you use “LORD” instead of “YHVH” or “Yahweh” or “Yehovah” on your pictures?
Some of the pictures do use the tetragrammaton or Yehovah. Many more use “LORD,” as the Scripture text on the pictures are in English translation, and the tetragrammaton is rendered in English translation as “LORD.” I believe there is nothing wrong with English- speakers addressing God by His English names and titles, as we are told in Rev 7:9-10 of a time still future to us:
“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
He will receive the worship of every tongue, in their tongues!

Hello Christine,
Thank you for the Scripture pictures, it is a blessing to me as well. Could you create some designs with African-Americans 🙂
Hi Tammy, Thank you so very much for visiting and for your kind comments! I have a few, but I am limited by what is available in the photo resource sites I use for background pictures. (Please see http://alittleperspective.com/favorite-photo-sources/ for the list). Here are links to the ones I have been able to do so far:

If you would like to help, perhaps you could email some high resolution photos of African- Americans, with a release of permission for their use as Scripture Pictures, if you are aware of any photographers willing to do so?
