In every place in the Hebrew Testament, where judgment has fallen upon the disobedient, Scripture, by its Teaching Tools, paints the picture of the Gospel of grace. And this is the picture: those who repent and who align themselves with YHVH, the God of Israel, will be saved. Rahab and Gibeon are the Canaanite examples. Those who instead stiffen the neck and make war upon the Messiah to overthrow His rule, will be judged. The five kings of the Amorites are the Canaanite examples. Life is the end of those who come to Him; death is the end of those who reject Him, for they have rejected the only Fountain of Living Water, and have elected to have the judgment for their sinfulness come upon their own head instead of upon the Lamb of God.

Each of 63,779 cross-references found in the Bible was mapped. The bar graph on the bottom represents all of the books of the Bible in order, the length of their lines corresponding to the length of each chapter. Do you see the very longest line dropping down in the center of the graph? That is Psalm 119. How interesting is it, that Psalm 119 does not fall out at the center of the book of Psalms, nor at the center of the Hebrew Old Testament. But it falls out at the very center and heart of Scripture when both Testaments are combined. Many of the arcs shown above the bar graph of the books represent the lessor and greater chiastic structures formed by Scripture, which I have been mapping in my daily Bible studies and posting here. ♥
Mark 11, Entering the East Gate
Additional studies: Mark Index
I saw a Chiastic Structure in this chapter, but in order to understand it, we have to understand what the fact of the riding into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey’s colt, and the cleansing of the Temple, meant to the Jews. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the colt, vs. 1 tells us that when they came to Jerusalem, when they were still outside the city, they were at the Mount of Olives. This is significant information, because if you look on a map of Israel, you will notice that the Mount of Olives is due east of the Temple … ♥
