Judas’ betrayal pairs with Simon of Cyrene’s blessing (he blessed Jesus by carrying His cross when He was too weak from scourging and abuse to do so).
The Garden of Gethsemane pairs with the Romans preparing Him for crucifixion. He prepared His own heart and spirit for the coming ordeal by the time He spent in prayer before the Father.
And the Passover meal pairs with His crucifixion. The Passover is the prophetic type that the crucifixion fulfills.
Now why would Peter’s denial be the central axis? This will become clear in Mar 16 … ♥

Looking forward to Mark 16. That was the cliff hanger in this one. I was just asking. “why is Peter’s denial central” I might peek ahead and see if I can discover it.
