Romans 10:2-21 Chiastic Structure:
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17
If you are struggling with doubts and distrust, you need more Word of God, not less. The Word is God is living and active; it is a living seed which, when planted, grows and produces fruit. And one of its fruits, is faith, trust, and belief. Where do we plant it? In the heart (Mar 4:13-20), and the best way to plant it there is, yes, read it, but just as importantly, hear it. The seed of the Word enters the heart through the agency of the eyes and ears. So read it (eyes) outloud (ears) for best results.
