Today’s Old Testament chronological reading is in Job 9 and 10.
The Psalms/ Proverbs reading is in Psalm 11.
The New Testament reading is in Matthew 7.
In reading through Job 9 and 10, and Psalm 11 this morning, I was once again floored at the common theme continuing in the daily study: YHVH tests the righteous. Job was in bitterness of soul because of the test he was enduring, and it was grave, make no mistake. But David proclaims the wisdom that will keep any of the righteous through their time of testing: In YHVH I put my trust. Things will work out in the end!
